Ray is a series artist, creating each artwork to stand on its own, while simultaneously relating to the body of work as a whole. He sometimes starts with a sketch but, more often than not, the paintings come to life with each brush stroke.
Ray uses colorfast inks, dyes, glazes, paints, etc., and an artists’ resin topcoat over all of his paintings.
