Luminous Sculpture 126

Ray is testing this sculpture to see how it will perform outside.  Since June 2023 to the present, it resides in Ray’s backyard, totally unprotected from sun and rain, enduring 100- to 0-degree weather, snow and storms.  It looks perfect.

We have used both direct electrical, which is reliable, and solar power to light the sculpture.  The solar power system, however, experiences occasional interference, causing the sculpture to flash red-green-blue continuously and the neighbors to invite themselves to our rave.

Any of the sculptures can be adapted for unprotected outdoor placement, a process that can take a week or more.  A marine resin coat is applied to the sculpture, and it is fitted with a top.
