We measure time – seconds, minutes, hours, etc. But during 2020 and into 2021, the era of Covid-19, it seemed that time became compressed to a near singular moment. The weekend was the same as the weekday, and months flew past or dragged on forever. What was once normal was now gone as time became elastic.
Time – do we really experience it, or is it nonlinear? These paintings are a reflection of nonlinear time.
